0 Hour - Ashley Allen - teenage girl passenger
I get home from school today and have a ton of homework, as usual, but I knew I was flying to England tonight to visit my aunt so I didn't have to do it. Yessss. As soon as I get home I began to pack for my family's annual trip. I put all my clothes and essentials into my blue suitcase and was ready to go. My family call me downstairs to eat dinner before we left; lasagna aka my favorite. Of course, I go back for seconds. Once my whole family finishes, we get in the mom van and headed out. We get to the airport and have to go through all the security and stuff. I always hate that part of going on a plane. Then, we get on the plane. Since school was tiring today and it was a long flight, I decide to take a little nap on the plane. Bad idea. I wake up to some rumbling of the plane and the "fasten your seat belt" sign, but I don't listen to that. The flight attendant kept trying to tell me that everything was going to be okay but I know that's a lie; this never happens. I'm starting to get pretty worried. And there it goes. The plane is falling. The plane. is. falling. THE PLANE IS FALLING. I try to buckle my seat belt but *crash*

Phil simmons - middle aged pilot
Just another day on the job. One flight after another. I just landed from a 8 hour flight in BWI and my plane and I have another 8 hour flight in 30 minutes. 8 hours of just looking at water and sky... Flying overseas is what I dread the most, but it's part of the job. As passengers beginning boarding, I make sure I have an adequate amount of coffee in my body to keep me awake. Everyone is on board, and the plane takes off at 11:35 a.m., right on schedule. I am now exhausted, and there is still several hours left. Around 2 p.m. my copilot realizes something, we have been flying in the wrong direction. I immediately get accused of reading the meter wrong. I disagree because I am one of the top pilots in the country, I would never make an amateur error like that. I look over at the meter to prove that I was right when I see that they were in fact correct. Because of my error everyone in this plane is at risk. We have been flying into a storm for the past 2 hours. Suddenly, you lose control. The plane begins to fall and I can't do anything about it. All of us pilots are frightened because we are out of ideas. The one pilot starts to have a panic attack. As I go to help him, the other copilot presses the "fasten your seat belt" button to inform the others that it's about to go down, and we want them to stay as safe as possible. Everyone is screaming. *crash* The plane first hits some trees which breaks the fall somewhat. The passengers that did not listen and buckle their seat belts were ejected. The plane then hits the ground. The people that are still in their seats due to the seat belts are still unharmed with minimal scratches. Everyone left gets out and all different things occur; some scream, some cry, some just sit in silence. Once everything gets calmed down, we find out that there were some doctors aboard the plane along with an eagle scout. I feel immediate relief knowing that they were on the plane. We begin to think of a plan to get off this island since our phones weren't working, and the radios were all broken.

Abigail Jones - mid 30s flight attendant
I arrive at the BWI airport for my 11 o'clock shift. I become informed of the flight I have today; I'm going to England, what's new. I get on the plane along with the other flight attendant Victoria. She's the only thing getting me through this flight. I had to miss my son's art fair today for this so I'm a little upset that I couldn't get off today. The plane's about to take off so I turn on my very fake positive attitude. "Welcome everyone. If you can all take your seat, we will be headed to London and should arrive around 7:30 p.m. Thank you." I walk around to make sure everyone is alright. Thankfully they all are. It is the most annoying thing when someone starts freaking out and thinks we're going to all crash and die. Hours pass and the flight starts to get a little rough. Some people start getting concerned so I have to tell them "everything will be okay, just stay in your seat." The plane begins accelerating downwards and I start realizing that this is actually happening, we are going to crash. All I can think about is my husband and son. I can't have my son grow up without a mother. *crash*
